Emergency Medical Services

Spalding Regional Medical Center operates the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for the city of Griffin and all of Spalding County, Georgia.

Spalding Regional ambulances are staffed by emergency medical technicians (EMT-1) and paramedics. The paramedics are trained in advanced life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).

Paramedics have received training and have stroke protocols in place to help stroke patients receive treatment quickly upon arrival at the Spalding Regional Emergency Department.

The goal of Spalding Regional Medical Center EMS is to provide our patients with the highest level of pre-hospital care possible. We endeavor to do this in a courteous and efficient manner.

Spalding Regional Medical Center EMS is also a partner in the Spalding County File of Life program, which provides emergency responders with access to vital information when responding to an in-home emergency where the person could not communicate effectively due to a medical condition or injury. If you need immediate emergency medical care, please call 911.
