Spalding Regional Hospital offers the following support groups to help members of our community find encouragement and information.

Most groups meet monthly. Please call the Support Group organizer for dates, times and details.

Living with Kidney Disease Support Group
Meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. at Spalding Regional in the Women's Center classrooms. For more information, call Kim at (770) 229-9347.

Lupus Support Group
Meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. at Spalding Regional in the Women's Center classrooms. For more information, call Myrna at (770) 228-8090.

Parkinson's Support Group
For people who are suffering from Parkinson's Disease and their family members. The group discusses topics including exercise, mobility issues, nutrition, medications and more. The group meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at Spalding Regional. For more information, call (678)408-3158.

Survivor's Network Cancer Support Group

Look Good Feel Better                                                                                                                                             Hands-on group workshop dedicated to helping female cancer patients cope with and combat appearance related side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.  Meets the 4th Monday of every month at Spalding Regional Medical Center, Classroom 2.  To register, call (770) 631-0625.

You are Not Alone, Special Needs Children Support Group
Meets the 3rd Saturday of the month (beginning September 2008) at 10 a.m. at Spalding Regional. The group is for people who have loved ones with developmental disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy.
