Thursday, 04 October 2007
Spalding Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Spalding Regional Urgent Care at Heron Bay will open on Monday, October 8.

Spalding Regional Urgent Care at Heron Bay is Spalding Regional Medical Center’s first urgent care center facility. The 11,192-square-foot facility also includes medical office space. Currently, the hospital is in discussions with several physician specialties who are interested in leasing office space.

“This is a very exciting project for Spalding Regional Medical Center,” comments John Quinn, CEO of Spalding Regional Medical Center. “Spalding Regional Urgent Care at Heron Bay will be able to provide convenient access to quality medical care to the growing population of southwest Henry and northern Spalding counties.”

The urgent care center will provide quick, walk in medical care for the residents of Heron Bay and surrounding communities. Open late during the week and open on weekends, Spalding Regional Urgent Care at Heron Bay can provide treatment for any minor illness or injury as well as physical exams, lab tests and x-rays. The center is staffed by two board-certified physicians and trained medical professionals, and is equipped with imaging and lab capabilities. Residents will not need an appointment to receive care and most insurance plans will be accepted.

Residents can get a sneak peak at the facility, receive a free blood pressure check and meet the center’s physicians at the Open House event scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 6.

Spalding Regional Urgent Care at Heron Bay is located at 3334 Highway 155 South, Locust Grove, Georgia, in the Town Center at Heron Bay. The center is open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. For more information about Spalding Regional Urgent Care at Heron Bay, visit
