Change for the Better.SM

Serving patients is the top priority at Spalding Regional Hospital, a 160-bed acute care facility that has been caring for the residents of Spalding, Pike, Lamar, Butts, Upson and Henry counties for more than 100 years.

In the past few years, we opened a new Women’s Center with private patient suites; and a new Emergency Department, almost doubling the size and offering new amenities and technologies to best serve our patients and their families.

Other hospital services include a Primary Stroke Center, Interventional Cardiology, Orthopedic and Joint Health, a 24 hour Imaging and Radiology Services center and oncology services.  Additionally, we have 7 outpatient centers in the region for wound care, sleep medicine and rehabilitation for physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our newest services include a Breast Care Program and a new Oncology Navigator providing a single point of contact for our cancer patients and their families.

Spalding Regional Hospital is fully accredited with a Gold Seal by the Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest accreditation agency.  Additionally, our hospital received national recognition in 2014 from this organization as a "Top Performer" hospital in the U.S.  Our hospital received 2 Gold Plus Awards in 2015 from the American Heart Association & American Stroke Association for our treatment of heart failure and stroke, the sixth consecutive year the hospital received a quality achievement award from these organizations.
