Becoming a volunteer at Spalding Regional Medical Center

The Spalding Regional Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary is always looking for volunteers to help carry out their mission of “Service for Others.”

Volunteering is as easy as a smile and kind word.
Sharing a friendly smile or conversation with patients to help them with their hospital stay is just one of many valuable services our auxiliary members provide. Other areas for service include:

  • Greeting visitors and answering questions at the Information Desk
  • Assisting patients and visitors in the Gift Shop
  • Providing information and directions to patients in the Outpatient Services area
  • Escorting patients to Admissions or other areas within the hospital
  • Providing comfort and information to family and friends of ICU patients
  • Helping to ease the anxiety of family and friends with loved ones in the Emergency Room
  • Mentor and encourage the Youth Volunteers

A tradition of service for more than 50 years.
The Spalding Regional Auxiliary has been serving the needs of patients, family members, employees and physicians for more than 50 years.

To become a volunteer or for more information, call (770) 228-2721, ext. 3163.
