Spalding Regional Medical Center hosted its ninth annual Angels in April event on Sunday, April 22.

Angels in April is an annual reunion of newborns who have spent extra time in the Spalding Regional nursery and their families.

More than 100 people attended this year's event, which was held outside the hospital's new Women's Center entrance.

Guests viewed a DVD slideshow of photos of the “angels” through the years and at the end of the event, released balloons to symbolize the “angels” who are no longer with us.
